While there are 16 funds available in the Booster KiwiSaver Scheme, we recommend that you invest in the Asset Class Funds for the following reasons:
- You can select any of the three Asset Class Funds, or a combination, to get the right level of risk – from conservative to balanced to growth. Stewart Group class advice is available by phoning us on 0800 878 961.
- The investment philosophy of the Asset Class Funds is based on sound academic theory and research:
- A passive investment strategy, structured to take advantage of return factors;
- Within equities – increased exposure to Small, Value and Emerging market companies, which make for higher expected returns and risk over the long term; and
- Within fixed interest – variable strategies to Term and Credit exposure, which act to balance the trade-off between risk and return.
Further details relating to the investment philosophy can be found on the Investment principles page.
- The Annual Management fee for the Asset Class Funds is between 1.15%p.a. and 1.29%p.a. depending on fund selection. There are no performance fees. Other fees including member fees (monthly member fee and account closure fee) will apply. See the Booster KiwiSaver Scheme Asset Class Fund Options Product Disclosure Statement for more information.
- Access to Dimensional, which is normally restricted to large institutions and high net worth individuals who have relationships with Dimensional-accredited financial advisers.
A Disclosure Statement is available from your adviser, on request and free of charge.
